- How to start
- Sign up, confirm your email address, choose the boat or canoe template, check numbers and prices and put the button on your website.
- Languages
- This website and sign-up are in English. The booking widget, booking page and emails for your guests are available in English, Dutch, German and Swedish. The admin is in Dutch only.
- Currency
- Your licence is billed in euros. If guests pay online, they pay in euros through your own Mollie account.
- Your data
- The database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the EU. The provider is a sole trader in Sweden.
- What it does not do
- Taking a security deposit, recording damage or automatically moving bookings in bad weather. You move bookings yourself in the admin.
What it does for your hire business
Customers choose the boat and the time. You just hand over the key.
- The hire periods you offer
- Two, three, four or eight hours for a boat, one or two hours for a canoe. You decide which hire periods can be chosen and when a hire can start.
- More boats for a group
- You set how many people fit in a boat. A group of twelve automatically gets two boats.
- Extras with the hire
- A picnic basket for the boat or life jackets for the canoe. Per booking or per person, with the price shown.
- Opening hours and closed days
- You enter opening hours and closed days. Closed times cannot be booked, and you also decide how far ahead customers can book.
- Payment or a deposit in advance
- For each hire you choose no payment, a deposit or full payment in advance, through your own Mollie account and in euros.
- Never double hired
- Only one booking per boat or canoe is possible at a time, even if two customers press the button at exactly the same moment.

Frequently asked questions
I only hire out in summer. Do I have to pay all year?
No, you can cancel your subscription every month. If you pay 6 or 12 months in advance, it runs until the end of that period.
Can a customer hire a boat for a whole day?
Yes, if you offer that as a hire period. The boat template starts with two, three, four or eight hours, and you can change that yourself.
What happens if the weather turns?
There is no automatic bad weather rule. You move or cancel bookings yourself in the admin, and refunds are made in your Mollie account.
Is the booking widget available in English?
Yes, the booking widget, the booking page and the emails to your guests are available in English, Dutch, German and Swedish. Sign-up is in English too; the admin is currently in Dutch only.
