- The database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the EU. The provider is a sole trader in Sweden.
- What it doesn't do
- Uploading reference images or designs when booking, digital consent forms, age checks and scheduling a multi-session project in one go. Each session is its own appointment, and clients describe their idea in the notes field.

- From a chat to a full day
- A half hour design consultation, a small tattoo, a three hour session or a full day: each treatment has its own length and price.
- The right person for each treatment
- For each treatment you decide who does it. The template already links the piercings to your piercer, so clients booking a piercing only see that person's times.
- Working hours for each artist
- Every artist and piercer has their own working days and time off. Add a guest spot or a convention as an absence and online booking with that person closes.
- Well ahead, not last minute
- You decide how far ahead clients can book and how late they still can. Out of the box that is up to 120 days ahead and at least a day before.
- Room to describe the idea
- When booking there is a free text field for notes, such as placement, size or style, so you know beforehand what the consultation is about.
- Deposits if you want them
- With the separate Online payment module (€20 a month) you ask for a deposit or the full amount up front for each treatment, through your own Mollie account. Gift vouchers are available as a module too.

Choose Tattoo and piercing when you sign up and you start with these treatments and prices, an artist working Tuesday to Saturday and a piercer working Thursday to Saturday. Clients can reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours beforehand. Then set who does which treatment, because that isn't set up yet.

How much does a booking system for a tattoo studio cost?
Salon Start costs €35 a month per studio, excluding VAT, with as many artists and piercers as you like. Can I take a deposit for a tattoo?
Yes, with the separate Online payment module at €20 a month. For each treatment you set a fixed amount or a percentage as the deposit, or take the full amount up front, through your own Mollie account. Mollie charges its own transaction fees.
Can piercings be booked with the piercer only?
Yes. For each treatment you choose which team members do it. Link the piercings to your piercer and clients only see that person's free times. Without a link, anyone on your team can take the treatment.
Can clients send a design or photo with their booking?
No, files can't be attached when booking. Clients describe their idea in the notes field and send images the way you already handle that.
Can I try it first?
Yes, you can try it free for 14 days, without payment details. If you want to carry on afterwards, you choose a subscription; if you do nothing, the trial simply ends.
