- Currency
- Your licence is billed in euros. If guests pay online, they pay in euros through your own Mollie account.
- Your data
- The database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the EU. The provider is a sole trader in Sweden.
- What it does not do
- Security deposits, damage reports, planning transport to a launch point, or moving a booking automatically when the weather turns.
What it does for your canoe hire
Customers book canoes while you get the boats on the water.
- Canoes and kayaks kept apart
- Each type of boat is its own activity with its own numbers and prices. Customers first choose a canoe or a kayak.
- Enough boats for a group
- You set how many people fit in a boat. A group gets as many boats as it needs in a single booking.
- By the hour or half day
- One, two or four hours, or whatever suits your route. You also choose whether a trip can start every half hour or on the hour.
- Last-minute bookings
- You decide how close to the start online booking stays open. The template starts with one hour, for people who turn up on a sunny day.
- Extras and payment in advance
- A waterproof barrel per booking is added by the customer. Payment can be in full or as a deposit, through your own Mollie account and in euros.
- Never double booked
- Only one booking per boat is possible at a time, even if two customers press the button at the same moment.

Frequently asked questions
How much does canoe hire booking software cost?
The Activities package costs €189 a month per location, excluding VAT, for all your boats together and with no fee per booking. Online payment and gift vouchers are included.
I only hire out in season. Do I have to pay all year?
No. Your subscription can be cancelled any month. If you pay 6 or 12 months ahead, it runs until the end of that period.
How does a group of five work with two-person canoes?
The group gets three canoes in one booking. The price is per canoe, so the customer sees straight away what three canoes cost.
Can I hire out paddleboards too?
Yes. You add them as their own activity, with their own numbers, prices and hire times, alongside your canoes and kayaks.
What if the weather turns?
There is no automatic bad weather rule. You move or cancel the booking yourself in the admin and refund any payment in your Mollie account.
Is the booking widget available in English?
Yes, the booking widget, the booking page and the emails to your guests are available in English, Dutch, German and Swedish. Sign-up and the admin are available in English too.
