Booking system for sports halls and pitches
Teams, clubs and groups of friends hire a hall or pitch by the hour on your website, for training, a match or a tournament. If a group is too big for one space, they book several spaces at once.

- How to start
- Sign up, confirm your email address, choose the Sports hall or pitch template, check your spaces and prices and put the button on your website.
- Languages
- This website and sign-up are in English. The booking widget, booking page and emails for your guests are available in English, Dutch, German and Swedish. The admin is available in the same four languages.
- Currency
- Your licence is billed in euros. If guests pay online, they pay in euros through your own Mollie account.
- Your data
- The database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the EU. The provider is a sole trader in Sweden.
- What it does not do
- Block booking a weekly slot for a whole season in one go, fixtures and leagues, membership records, invoicing a club and links to keys, doors or lighting.
What it does for your hall or pitch
No more emails about free slots. Hirers see what is available and book it there and then.
- By the hour or longer
- You choose which hire lengths can be booked, in the template one hour, ninety minutes or two hours, and how often a hire can start. Hirers only see times when the space is free for the whole period.
- Several spaces in one booking
- You divide your hall or grounds into spaces, each with a maximum number of players. A larger group automatically gets enough spaces, side by side where possible.
- Evening rate
- The template starts with a higher rate on weekday evenings between 17:00 and 22:00. You set your own prices by time of day and day of the week.
- Balls and bibs
- Extras such as balls and bibs are added while booking, per booking or per person, with the price shown.
- Payment in advance
- For each activity you choose no advance payment, a deposit or full payment in advance, through your own Mollie account and in euros.
- Well ahead, not last minute
- You decide how far ahead people can book and how close to the start. The template allows bookings six months ahead, at least four hours before, with a phone number required.
Your website, your button
Bookings happen without anyone leaving your site. The widget matches your logo and colours and works on any phone. Prefer a page of your own? That comes free.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sports hall booking system cost?
The Activities package costs €189 a month per venue, excluding VAT, for all your spaces together. Online payments are included and there is no fee per booking. If hirers pay online, Mollie charges its own transaction fees.
Can a group hire the whole hall?
Yes. If a group has more players than one space holds, it gets as many spaces as it needs in a single booking, as long as they are free. The price is per space per hour.
Can a team train on the same evening every week?
Not as a recurring booking, because each booking is for one date. A regular team books each week, well ahead if you allow it, or you add the bookings for them in the admin.
Does it work for an outdoor pitch?
Yes. A space is simply a row in your schedule, indoors or outdoors. You give it a name, a maximum number of players, a price and opening hours.
What if a hirer cancels at the last minute?
Cancelling is only possible up to the deadline you set; the template starts with 48 hours. For more certainty, ask for full payment or a deposit in advance.
Is the booking widget available in English?
Yes. The booking widget, the booking page and the emails to your hirers are available in English, Dutch, German and Swedish, and people get their browser's language automatically. Sign-up and the admin are in English too.
