Signing up your business

Signing up takes three steps: your business, your account and a confirmation. You won't need any payment details.

1. Go to yourreservation.eu and open the sign up page.

   You'll see three steps: Your business, Your account and Confirm.

2. Under What kind of business do you run?, choose either Restaurant or café or Leisure, sport or rental.

   Bowling, padel, escape rooms, venues, boats and bikes all come under Leisure, sport or rental, with the Activities package. If you run a hair salon, nail studio or beauty salon, choose Restaurant or café and then pick Salon Start or Salon under Package.

3. Enter the name of your business and the town or city. If you have more than one business, choose Add another business.

   The partner code is optional. If a partner sent you, their code is already filled in.

4. Pick a package and click Continue.

   You can still switch to another package later under Licences and invoices.

5. Fill in your name, your email address and a password of at least 10 characters, tick the box for the terms and conditions and the privacy policy, and click Start my free trial.

   You'll see Check your email.

6. Open the email and click the button to confirm your address.

   You go straight into the admin, where an example setup is ready for you to adjust.

Choosing the admin language

The admin is available in Dutch, Swedish, English and German. Your choice applies to the device you're using.

1. Open the admin for the first time.

   A window asks you to choose a language, with your browser's language already selected.

2. Choose your language and click the button below it.

   The whole admin switches to that language straight away.

3. To change it later, pick another language at the bottom of the menu, or go to My account and choose under Admin language.

   The change applies immediately on this device.

Finding your way around the menu

The menu sits on the left, or behind the Open menu button on a phone. It's split into four groups: Service for the day itself, Set-up for what you offer and online booking, Venue for your details, team, payments and invoices, and Analytics.

You only see what fits your type of business and your plan. A restaurant sees Floor and tables, a business with activities sees Activities and rates, and a salon sees Treatments and Staff members. If a module isn't part of your plan, its screen won't appear; you can switch it on under Licences and invoices.

At the bottom of the menu you'll find the language, Lock (kiosk) and Log out. If you run more than one venue, switch between them at the top with Choose venue.

The Set up your venue checklist

Until everything is in place, the Set up your venue checklist sits at the top of Today. Each step ticks itself off once it has genuinely been filled in, not just because you clicked on it.

1. Click the name of the next step, or All steps to see the full list.

   You're taken to the screen where that step belongs.

2. Restaurants: set the days and times guests can book under Times and spots, and add your tables in Floor and tables.

   The Times and Floor and tables steps are ticked off.

3. Activities: set up your lanes or spots and what guests can book in Activities and rates.

   The Lanes and activities step is ticked off.

4. Enter your address under Details and branding.

   The Details step is ticked off.

5. In Online booking, give the button a colour or some text, or choose Hide on that step if you don't need it.

   The Your pop-up step is ticked off.

6. Make a booking yourself through your booking page, just as a guest would.

   Once your first online booking is in, the checklist is complete and disappears.

Your trial

While your trial runs, a bar at the top of the admin shows how many days you have left. When it ends, online booking closes until you choose a subscription.
