Your booking page and QR code
Every venue has its own booking page. It works without a website of your own too: share the link on Instagram, in your Google Business Profile or in an email.
Go to Online booking.
At the top you'll find Your booking page with the Copy and View buttons.
Click Copy and paste the link wherever you want to share it.
You'll see Link copied.
Under QR code, click Download as image.
You get an image to put on tables, the menu or the window. Guests scan it and land on your booking page.
The pop-up on your own website
On your own website you can add a button that opens your booking page as a pop-up. Under On your own website, pick your site builder at My website is built with and you'll see the steps that work there, along with the code you need. The same steps for each site builder are listed below.
Choose your website builder
WordPress
With the YourReservation Booking plugin
- Download the plugin below.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, choose the file and install it.
- Activate the plugin.
- Go to Settings, YourReservation and paste your key. Save.
- The floating button now appears on every page. A button or menu item of your own opens the pop-up with the link #tablehost, or with the shortcode [yourreservation_button].
Can't use plugins (for example on WordPress.com without plugins)? Then put this line at the bottom of every page, or add a button to your booking page.
Wix
The line of code via Custom Code
- Open your site's dashboard and go to Settings.
- Choose Custom Code in the Development & integrations section and click + Add Custom Code at the top right.
- Paste the line below and give it a name, such as YourReservation.
- Under Add Code to Pages choose All pages, and under Place Code in choose Body end.
- Click Apply.
On Wix, Custom Code only works on a published site with your own domain connected. Don't put the line in an HTML element: Wix shows that in a small sealed frame, and the pop-up won't fit in it.
Squarespace
The line of code via Code Injection
- Open the Code Injection panel in Squarespace.
- Paste the line below into the Footer field.
- Click Save.
Code Injection is included in the Core, Plus and Advanced plans, not in Basic.
On Basic: add a button block, click the pencil, choose Attach Link under Content and paste this link under URL.
Webflow
The line of code in your site's custom code
- Open your site settings in Webflow and find the custom code section.
- Paste the line below into the footer field.
- Save and publish the site.
Custom code isn't included in the free Starter plan; you need a paid plan.
Shopify
A button or menu item linking to your booking page
- Add a button or menu item to your theme.
- Paste the link below as its address.
- Save.
You can also have the pop-up on every page: your web developer then puts the line of code just before </body> in layout/theme.liquid (Online Store, the three-dot menu next to your theme, Edit code). Shopify warns that such changes may be lost when the theme is updated, so test on a copy first.
The line of code for your web developer:
Jimdo
A button linking to your booking page
- Add a button to your page.
- Paste the link below as the button's address.
- Publish the page.
Some plans also let you add your own code to the page. Then you can embed the form in the page with the code below.
The form embedded in the page:
Framer
The line of code via Custom Code
- Open Project Settings and choose Custom Code on the left.
- Click Add Script or the plus sign.
- Paste the line below and choose the end of the body and all pages.
- Publish the site and check the published version: custom code doesn't run in the editor preview.
A custom domain on Framer requires a paid plan.
Google Sites
The form on the page
- Click Insert on the right and choose Embed.
- Choose By URL and paste the address below.
- Click Insert and make the block tall enough to show the whole form.
- Click Publish.
Google Sites has no place for code on every page, so the floating button with pop-up isn't possible here.
Prefer a button? Choose Insert, Button, give it a name and paste this link.
Hostinger
The line of code via Integrations
- Open the website builder and click More (the three dots).
- Choose Integrations.
- Paste the line below into the Custom code field and save.
- Update your website. You won't see the button in the editor, but you will in the preview and online.
one.com
A button linking to your booking page
- Add a button to your page.
- Paste the link below as the button's address.
- Publish the site.
Some plans also let you add your own code; then you can add the line of code for the pop-up too.
The line of code, if your plan allows custom code:
IONOS
The line of code via Custom Head Code
- In your IONOS account, go to Menu, Web Projects, Manage project, then open Website, Website Editor.
- Choose Settings, Custom Head Code.
- Paste the line below.
- For consent, choose No consent required. With Consent required, the button only loads once a visitor has given consent.
- Click Save.
Not every MyWebsite Now package allows custom code.
Strato
The form on the page via the Embed element
- Choose WEBSEITE BEARBEITEN, Inhaltselemente, Standardelemente, Embed, and drag the element to its place on the page.
- Click the cog at the top right and choose Internetadresse (iFrame).
- Paste the address below.
- Set the height yourself so the whole form is visible.
Strato's Homepage-Baukasten doesn't allow custom code, so the floating button with pop-up isn't possible here.
Or a button linking to your booking page:
Square Online
The line of code via Tracking Tools
- In the Square Dashboard, go to Channels, Square Online.
- Choose Settings, Tracking Tools and click Add new code.
- Give it a name, paste the line below and choose End of body.
- Click Save and publish the site.
Custom code is only included in Square Online Plus and Premium.
On Free: select a button, choose Add link, paste this link and click Save. Then publish.
Carrd
The line of code with an Embed element
- Add an Embed element and choose Code under Type.
- Paste the line below.
- Set Style to Hidden and choose Body End.
- Publish the site; you won't see the button in the builder.
On Carrd, embeds need Pro Standard or higher.
Without Pro Standard: put this link on a button.
Lovable, Bolt, v0 or Replit
Ask your tool's chat
- Copy the prompt below; your key is already in it.
- Paste it into the chat in Lovable, Bolt, v0 or Replit.
- Then open the live site, click the button and check that the pop-up opens.
A custom domain on Lovable and Bolt requires a paid plan.
Something else or custom built
The line of code at the bottom of every page
- Paste the line below just before </body>, on every page or in the template that every page uses.
- If your site has a Content-Security-Policy, allow https://yourreservation.eu in script-src, connect-src, frame-src and img-src.
- Publish and click the button to check that the pop-up opens.
Prefer the form embedded in the page?
No website
Your booking page is your website
- Share the link below on Instagram, in your Google Business Profile and in your emails.
- Put the QR code from above on the table, the menu or the window.
Designing the pop-up
In Design the pop-up, under Colours, choose your Brand colour, Background and Text.
If your colour has too little contrast, buttons in the pop-up are made slightly darker so they stay readable.
Choose a Font for the text and the Headings, and a Size.
On a phone the pop-up always fills the whole screen.
Under Button on your website, switch Show a floating button in the corner on or off, and choose the Button text, Position, Button colour and Button text colour.
If the text is hard to read on the button colour, the button on your site gets white text, just as in the preview.
Save, then check the Preview or click View on a test page.
The preview is your real pop-up, so any booking you make there is real.
Rules for guests
Under Rules for guests you decide how short notice and how far ahead guests can book online, and until when they can cancel or reschedule themselves.
Fill in Cancellation possible up to, in hours before the booking.
After that, the guest has to phone you.
Switch on Guests can reschedule themselves and, if you like, fill in Rescheduling possible up to.
Using the link in the confirmation and the reminder, a guest picks another day or time. You get a notification that includes the old time.
Fill in Bookings open from, Minimum notice and How far ahead.
Leaving Bookings open from empty means from today. At the front desk you can always book.
Restaurants: under The end time of a service is, choose between The last arrival and When you close, then click Save rules.
You'll see Rules saved.
Languages for guests
Your booking page, the pop-up and the emails are available in Dutch, English, German and Swedish. A guest gets their browser's language if you offer it, and otherwise your default language.
Under Languages for guests, switch on the languages you want to offer.
Each language shows whether it's switched on.
Choose the Default language.
Guests whose browser uses a language you don't offer will see this one.
Messages to guests
Under Messages to guests, fill in the Sender and Guest replies go to.
When a guest replies to an email, the reply arrives at that address.
Under New booking notifications go to, enter where you'd like to receive notifications.
If you leave it empty, they go to the venue's email address.
If you like, fill in a Link to your terms, and under Reminder beforehand choose how many hours before the booking the reminder goes out.
0 means no reminder.
Switch on Ask for a review, fill in Hours after the visit and your Link to your Google reviews or Link to TripAdvisor, then click Save messages.
After the visit the guest receives an email with those links. You'll only see this switch if reviews are part of your plan.
How a guest books
Restaurants: the guest picks a date, the number of people and a time, enters their details and clicks to book. They then receive an email, and their table is only secured once they click the button in it. If they don't do so within 24 hours, the request lapses. Until then the booking shows in Today as Unconfirmed.
Activities: the guest chooses the activity, the number of people, the duration, the date, a start time and any extras. If they have to pay in full or a deposit up front, they pay straight away through Mollie. Without a payment, we hold the spot and they confirm through the link in the email.
Salons: the client chooses a treatment, a staff member or no preference, and a time. If they have to pay up front, the appointment is only secured once they've paid; if they don't pay within 20 minutes, the time becomes free again.
The link in the email lets the guest cancel, and reschedule too if you've switched that on.
